New Ball Carrier Special Moves (Skill Bar) –

All of the Ball Carrier ambiguous moves are now on the Right Stick, giving you more control to string together feature reel combo moves. You can even loot your way to the end zone with a Celebration Run, a solo catch press this year. Use with caution though, as ball carriers are routinely mishandled when tackled in celebration!

New User-Friendly Quick Pass Mechanics –

Feel full control and responsiveness when executing distinct pass surge moves.  Select the move you need via a directional stick addition with full control to dive into a combo move at any time.  Execute pass surge moves deliberately – defenders have limited moves allowed per play, and enemy linemen will shoot by developing protection from moves performed consistently, so try mixing up the collection to increase potential.

AI –

CPU-controlled groups and QBs will begin making in-game changes based on your tendencies. They will start to see patterns when faced with repeated play calls and will start using their auditory, change-ups, and idea counters during the game to combat your methodology.  Computer-based intelligence-controlled QBs will play according to their patterns, while versatile QBs will make plays on the run, and pocket passers will intelligently study the field.  Make sure to mix up your play calling against the best QBs in the game to keep them speculating!

Handling Improvements-

Ball Carriers and defenders will now be more mindful of where they are on the field in terms of the goal line, arc, and first down marker.  Ball carriers will intelligently go after the additional yards needed for a first down or score, all determined by Superstar capacities and player evaluations, while defenders will attempt to block the additional yards.  Open field handling has been improved by the Breakdown Tackle mechanic, allowing guards to slot into position flawlessly for a generally safe wraparound tackle while intelligently designing contact, but try to time the breakdown correctly or risk a fake.

Whiz X-Factor 2.0 –

Whiz X-Factors are back! Over 50 new abilities and another crop of Superstar players bring a game-changing system to every game, highlighting the stars of the NFL. Upgrades to existing abilities provide tuned ongoing interaction, while new abilities improve passing, transitioning and ball carrier movement in every mode.
