Isaac Clarke is an ordinary engineer tasked with repairing a massive mining ship known as the USG Ishimura, but he learns that something terrible has happened during his mission. Isaac’s beloved partner Nicole has gone missing on the ship, and the ship’s crew has been killed.
Now alone and relying only on his technical equipment and knowledge, Isaac is in a race against time to find Nicole as the terrifying mystery of what is happening on the Ishimura unfolds around him. Held captive on a ship filled with hostile monsters known as Necromorphs, Isaac must fight for his life not only against the ship’s growing dangers, but also against his own deteriorating sanity.
