Call of Duty is a name that everyone is familiar with.  It’s the game we all grew up on.  Whether it’s your siblings or your best friend, everyone plays it and everyone knows it.  Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a first-person shooter video game developed by Raven Software and Treyarch and published by Activision.

You heard right, this is the 17th Call of Duty game that we will witness worldwide.  This game is the sequel to the 2010 Call of Duty: Black Ops and it came out after a decade of waiting.  So the anticipation is high.  It is available on various platforms including Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.  The first edition will be released on November 13, 2020.

Since there is still some time until the PS5 release, we will focus on the features that this game brings to PS4 users.  This game will be available for PS4 and PS5, but PS5 use will only be an upgrade from the PS4 version. That’s why it’s important for us to know exactly what the PS4 version has to offer. Call of Duty Cold War PS4 is set in the early 80s of the Cold War. Hence, the name. This campaign will follow Russell, a CIA officer who is on the trail of a Soviet Union spy whose goal is to overthrow the power of the Soviet Union and destroy the United States. This first-person shooter lets you see the world through Russell’s eyes and track down the spy he’s looking for. The multiplayer will also bring more customization, new modes, new maps, and different dynamics. And all of this will be available on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War PS4.

One of the most interesting aspects of this game is that it is based on real-life events. It takes place during the winter of the 1980s, at the height of the Cold War. The campaign includes realistic locations such as Vietnam, Turkey, and East Berlin, and even the Soviet Headquarters. This game is as real as it feels. The player will have the flexibility and option to choose different characters for their campaigns, with customization options for skin tone, ethnicity, gender, and other personality traits. These personality traits provide advantages in-game, so you should choose carefully. The campaign can have multiple endings, so your ending depends on many factors, including the character you choose, the customizations you make, and the traits your character has.
